We would like to congratulate Miss Marissa, age 8, who hails from South Carolina and is one of the winners of the Princess Onyx™ Become a Princess 2013 Contest.

Princess Marissa’s spirit fills rooms with light and she is wise beyond her age. Her wisdom bonds the friendships of all the princesses throughout the Kingdoms. It is an honor to have Princess Marissa join Princess Onyx and Princess Zoey in the second story of the Princess Onyx Fairytales series, Princess Onyx ~ Hairy Business. Congratulations, Princess Marissa!

She loves to dance, sing, play, and go on exciting adventures. She admires her parents who taught her to embrace her physical features. Although her parents seem overprotective, Princess Onyx is determined to understand the world outside her palace. With the love and guidance of her parents and her dear friend, Ruby, Princess Onyx is motivated to help eliminate negative stereotypes.
