Princess Onyx™ Fairytales are stories about a beautiful princess named Princess Onyx who lives in the Kingdom of Jet with her loving parents, King Stygian and Queen Sable. Princess Onyx loves to play and have fun with the kingdom’s children. Her adventures teach her some valuable lessons about self-esteem, colorism, friendship, respect, and doing the right thing even if she must stand alone. With the encouragement and support of her family and her gracious Lady-in-Waiting, Ruby, Princess Onyx learns to love life and learns the value of loving relationships.
The daughter of the king and queen of the Kingdom of Jet, Princess Onyx is a dark-skinned, round-nosed little girl who is compassionate, courteous, funny, highly emotional, intellectually, lovable, and talented little girl. She loves to dance, sing, play, and go on exciting adventures. She admires her parents who taught her to embrace her physical features. Although her parents seem overprotective, Princess Onyx is determined to understand the world outside her palace. With the love and guidance of her parents and her dear friend, Ruby, Princess Onyx is motivated to help eliminate negative stereotypes.
